Underclocked
After reformating my computer, I've noticed my computer is a tad slower than expected. So, I check with CPU-Z and I'm running at 1 GHz, instead of 2 GHz. It seems my CPU is underclocked for some unknown reason. Any ideas?
EDIT: I Prime95 to see if it would ramp up, but it's still acting like a 1 GHz processor. Jam it back in, in the dark.

I applied a BIOS update, toggled speedstep on/off and everything seems to back in order. Thanks.
There's nowhere I can't reach.
