Game Soundtracks done by notable musicians

My friend and I were randomly lurking IMDB looking up musicians we're familiar with, noting the soundtracks they've done and all. He asked what game soundtracks some musicians/bands may have done/contributed to (for original tracks), and I couldn't come up with all that much aside from Incubus and others in Halo 2, and Trent Reznor for Quake. (Also, for example, Trevor Rabin formerly of Yes has done many film scores, including Snakes on a Plane)

I didn't really know where to look, so I figured this part of the forum would be a pretty good resource for such misc knowledge. I'd appreciate any notable musicians who did film as well as games.

How ya doing, buddy?

Well, I'm interested in notable composers in games too, but moreso I'd like to know of musicians in bands for the most part composing in game or film.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Given the sound of the Guilty Gears, I would find it quite hard to believe any participating bands would emulate Queen in ANY way. Didn't N.EX.T do GGXX? I was under the impression the Korean one was by a different band.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.
