[Multiplatform] Official Final Fantasy XIII Thread

I'll be buying a 360 next week now. Not that I won't buy FFXIII on the PS3, but this is proof that the 360 will be the dominant consoles from RPGs and there's no longer anything Sony can do about it.

One of the reasons I'm kind of disappointed with this is that knowing Square, they will probably make a shorter, less involved game opposed to release a 2-4 disc game for the 360's sake. Blu-ray's capabilities just aren't going to be put to use in this game. Hardware and such isn't that much of a concern since we know the PS3 isn't that much more powerful than the 360 (at this point in time.)

Oh well, it's a Nomura game so I guess it was going to suck anyway. That's the only way to make myself feel better about this.

Anything being like Dark Cloud (specifically Dark Cloud 2) is never a bad thing. This sounds interesting and it comes out relatively close to when I get out of school, so I might actually have some good time to waste on it.
