Snakes On A Plane Impressions

I couldn't stand this movie. I went into it expecting more of a self-effacing parody, but what I got was a bipolar mess. It alternates between the ridiculousness and balls to the wall spectacle of snake biting, and trying to tug at your heartstrings.

The movie fails because it doesn't carry the B-movie theme out far enough. It tries to be genuine, and in doing so it turns into just an overblown, unnecessary action flick, rather than the subject of comedy that all the marketing made it out to be.

One and a half stars, max.
