So, normally I don't really care about codes for games, but I recently found out that the only way to reformat a PS2 memory card is using one of these bad boys, so I figured it would be a good investment since I plan on hanging onto my PS2 for a good while longer. The package I'm looking at also supports VCDs and MP3 discs for PS2 use, and apparently supports some emulation too.

To those who have bought it: did you ever mess with the video formatting or the retro game emulation? How reliable was it? Was it even worth messing with?

And if you have little to no interest in codes for games, getting yourself a type of device that allows you to do so isn't a smart move. You either want help, or you don't.
