Mario Kart 8 - 30 points

Although I havne't played it as much as I'd like, it is still a really awesome game. The best in the series with tons of replay value and the awesome DLC packs. There aren't enough awesome words to give this game.

Super Smash Bros. Wii-U - 30 points

I honestly love the smash series. I have played all of them to death and then some. Probably one of my favorite game series to play through. I do miss the single player features from Brawl, and I am sad that they opted to do Smash Tour instead of Smash Run in the Wiii-U version. However, there's just so much to do in this game that the disappointment from these small gripes is easily overshadowed. If I had to choose just one GOTY, this would be it.

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance - 15 points

I am probably gonna get shit for putting this game lower than 40 points. I enjoyed it, a lot. The combat was solid, the game was smooth and the story was enjoyable. The camera annoyed me a bit, especially in chaotic battles like the Sam fight. I also can't see myself going back to replay the game, even though I enjoyed myself going through it in the first place. SORRY GUYS, still great though!

Transistor - 10 points

I really enjoy the narrative in this game. I figured I would, as I enjoyed the narrative in Bastion when I played that. Plus, the inner geek in me loves the programming named skills and the synergy play of the functions. Overall a very well put together game. I haven't finished it yet, which might have pushed this to a higher point total if I had, but oh well!

Hyrule Warriors - 10 points

Another game I really wish I had more time to play. What I have played of it so far is great and there are tons of things to do in the game, plus co-op!

Mario Golf: World Tour - 5 points

While not the most in depth game this year, I did play it a ton thanks to Meet. Played it at meet a bunch with Omagnus and Skills, and then continued to play it while out and about with my 3ds. This game was my mobile game of choice until Smash for the 3ds came out.

Jam it back in, in the dark.
