Malwarebytes is a great spy/scare/adware remover as well.
As far as combofix goes, I've never had any issue running it. We use it regularly here in the lab without fail. Its a great program, but if you have AVG installed, combofix will NOT work, just an fyi. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
