I gave up trying to keep a relationship (even friendly) with my parents.
After my dad killed himself, I cut the last tie, and I don't see my mom or the rest of my family anymore. I felt that it wasn't worth it. Not with what was going on in the family anyway. Jam it back in, in the dark. WALK WITH THE DREAMERS,
THE BELIEVERS, THE COURAGEOUS, THE CHEERFUL, THE PLANNERS, THE DOERS, THE SUCCESSFUL PEOPLE WITH THEIR HEADS IN THE CLOUDS AND THEIR FEET ON THE GROUND. LET THEIR SPIRIT IGNITE A FIRE WITHIN YOU TO LEAVE THIS WORLD BETTER THAN WHEN YOU FOUND IT.
