Well, nothing like a fat analog sound to drive a good bassline,
a sound that, during the 16-bit era, was the almost exclusive domain of the Sega Genesis. Two e.g.'s (attached below): Several classic Yuzo tunes from Streets of Rage 1 & 2... and from a lesser-known soundtrack, U.S. Gold's Incredible Hulk. It don't get funkier than this! Jam it back in, in the dark. |
