[General Discussion] What Kind of Gamer Are You?

I used to consider myself a "Hardcore" gamer. Now I just more or less like to talk about games and collect them rather than play them. I play RPGs, Music games and strange/shitty games and nothing else really, with the exclusion of a few diamond in the rough mainstream titles like Resident Evil 4. For some reason beyond my knowledge, Massive Overhype or Hype in general usually kills my enjoyment of most games. Probably disapointment, like Final Fantasy VII which I loved but have grown to hate the name. Games like Halo which I just hate and can never and probably will never see why they're so popular.

I don't love being "different" when it comes to my taste in games like most people think I'm trying to do. I've got fucked up, uncomprhendable taste. Like why I like Ephemeral Fantasia and not love Shadow Hearts.

I don't understand my taste in games and probably never will. I rarely play them anymore though (no where near as much I used to). I love collecting them though...Ill never get tired of that.
