Essentially for "fun," i.e., some friends want to do something on a boring weekend. You watch a lot of terrible shit this way because the pick is always some blockbuster release.
I like to watch the "good" stuff by myself, undisturbed, even if it means buying the DVD and watching it on a dinky TV/monitor. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
