Question PI/PO errors

Each time I burn a disc I get 2 or 3 PI errors. I think some time ago I didn't have them. Are these errors a problem of the DVD burner? maybe the discs (I'm using verbatim 'cos always though they're the best brand for its quality)?

If PI failures can be fixed by HW, what happen with PI errors? When an error can't be fixed by HW the disc or file becomes unreadable?

Gimme some light to these questions.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

1st thank you to everyone. I'm gonna check them, soluzar, that's a great tool. You know, I opened a new pack of DVDs and now I don't get the error window on Nero. Probably you're right and I got just a 'lemmon pack' :P

I couldn't check those wrong DVDs I burnt on my desktop computer because the burner hasn't got the option. So I tried just the 'read proof' and all seemed to be ok.

There's nowhere I can't reach.
