Don't worry about wisdom teeth; everyone else who's responded so far complaining about them is either actually a girl or a pussy.

propped like hell
Anyway last year I started a new job which afforded me health and dental insurance, so I got nine cavities filled, my wisdom teeth removed, and some assorted cleaning and whatnot. The most painful part of the wisdom teeth was the price tag - I took a five day weekend and I was able to eat normally by the end and use a straw a week after.
My sister had a root canal and it's not that big of a deal, you're not in pain for as long as you would be for your wisdom teeth.
I've had a few medium or large cavities drilled without anesthetic as a child (shitty dentist) - I don't recommend it.
Jam it back in, in the dark.
