I took a bike ride up to the nearby Gamestop today, walked in, walked out with a copy without a pre-order.
It deserves all of the great reviews it's getting. The soundtrack is amazing, the game looks great, and the WAGGLE JUSTICE controls work extremely well. Maneuvering around worlds with the perspective changing constantly was a little disorienting at first, but after the first star or two I didn't have any problems going from planet to planet. Also those little miniworlds that open by feeding those star things are hard as hell. One where you have to pull back and launch Mario from launcher to launcher took me at least 20 tries. Jam it back in, in the dark.  |

One of my roommates is usually around to pick up a second Wiimote and join in. While it's annoying as hell when they try to make me jump off ledges, it's extremely helpful since the second pointer can stun enemies and collect start bits.
There's nowhere I can't reach. |
