My friends and I have a poker game every couple weekends. Over the summer we were kind of addicted, and we played a lot more. We played pretty high stakes for our budgets (We make no money) and $10-$25 entry fees were the norm. While this could have been bad, I usually played a sound and patient game, and ended up making over $300 that summer. Add this to my winnings from hustling pool, and I made around $500 that summer without working a minute.
Back to the present and our biweekly game. We play for a little lower stakes now, but we still have fun. It's really just turned into an excuse to get together and drink, though.  Jam it back in, in the dark.  |
