The real difference is Deni is a pompous dick.

This whole thing just makes me extremely sad. The Pens are the only team in Pittsburgh with a chance at success, and they're all but gone.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

I know that Wojo, but when you look at the politics of the state, what do they care? Our governor has never done a single thing for our city, instead solely focusing on his beloved Philadelphia. There's still hope, and I'll be there for any rallies planned, but things sure aren't looking too good for us.

Could you explain to me what exactly "Plan B" entails? I've heard this term being thrown around for the last couple years, it seems, but I've never actually gotten a good explanation of what it entails.

How ya doing, buddy?

I'd gladly add a few bucks to my taxes to keep the Penguins here.

Like any other player would even have the awareness to shoot it in the direction of the goal while falling and sliding across the ice.

These shootout losses are really starting to get to me. May as well blame it on Sergei.

Why couldn't Malkin handle it himself? Do all these superstars need bodyguards now?
Like enforcers haven't been around since the birth of hockey.

Actually, I don't even know why I'm responding to this. You most likely didn't watch the game, so you're just talking out of your ass as it is.

Who would you rather have in the box: Malkin or Brooks Orpik?

If it were ever an even fight like that, yeah, it would be. But it always ends up being something like Crosby vs. Rory Fitzpatrick. Not exactly an even loss for both teams.

Aahaha are you serious? It's an all-star game. The score was 12-9 for Christ's sake. Briere was a point away from tying the all-star game points record, and it was the first time he'd ever appeared in one. He totally deserved it.
I could have sworn Lemieux had a seven point All Star Game.

FreeHooker: I was actually going to say PIT v. NSH, but I thought that would make for one shitty SCF.

In other news, the Penguins may have an arena deal by the end of...tomorrow.
Let's hope so. This is the first sign of light in a long time.

And the Penguins beat the tar out of the Predators, 4-1. They're tied with the Sens for 5th, and beating a team like the Predators on any given night means a lot for later in the season. 9-0-1 in their last 10.
Pretty sure we're 8-0-2, after that OT loss on Saturday.

And, yeah, that game was terrific. It was so much fun being there, especially since the crowd was going crazy the entire game. When Ruutu put in that final open-netter the "Ruuuuuuuuu~" chant went on for days. Fun time.

MAF is tired and the Pens' defense is porous.

Speaking of dog shit, the FSN feeds from the South are exactly that, dog shit. It's like they have no idea what contrast is. I just noticed tonight and other nights how games in Florida are televised with such a dark contrast, I feel like I have glaucoma.
In Tampa, I think the lighting in the arena just blows. Players are always saying it's the worst arena to play at in the NHL. I'm not sure if it's the same thing in Florida, but that was terrible watching that game last night. Well, maybe not that terrible, but it was pretty damn annoying.

And Brashear isn't some punk bitch, either. Laraque landed a couple right in his face and then drove him into the ground. Black on black violence was never more entertaining.

Make that 2-0. A shaky Fleury and bad penalties aren't making this easy for us. Here's to a better second period.

Crazy start to the third: Two goals in the first couple minutes. Hopefully the Pens can roll on and make a comeback. We fucking need it.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.
