Sorry, but Phoenix Wright is pretty much confirmed not to be in MVC3 in this interview.

I don't really understand why everyone wants him in the game; he's not a fighter. I could see him jumping out and yelling "Objection!" with the word bubble doing some damage as a support character if it were like MVC1, but it just doesn't make any sense to give him a fighting game move set. If anyone from that series would fit in as a fighter, it'd be Franziska von Karma. At least she uses a whip.
