It seems we may not have seen the last of Duke Nukem Forever.
Take-Two is suing 3D Realms, basically for taking too god damn long to make the game and ultimately shitcanning it. Also, they want the DNF source code to be preserved for the entirety of the trial. The writer brings up a good point. If Take-Two wins, and they get the source code, they may actually finish the job and we just might get to see that awesome gameplay that Garr posted put to good use. Jam it back in, in the dark.
