Though, give me a great "Haunted House" flick and I will give you props. Unfortunately I am a sucker for that specific horror genre XD.
If it's Haunted House movies you're after, you can't go wrong with The Amittyville Horror. The original from 1979 though. Fuck the Ryan Reynolds remake. Someone brought up The Shining a few posts up, which is another good one. If you're into Asian movies as well, A Tale of Two Sisters was pretty creepy. Made me jump a couple times, and I never jump. Though from the ending of that one, I'm not sure if you could call it a Haunted House movie.

Some of my personal favorites are A Nightmare on Elm Street, (In an auction I won a few pictures and DVDs signed by Robert Englund. ) The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, the Saw series, and Silence of the Lambs. I guess that one's more suspense than horror though.

Jam it back in, in the dark.
