I usually use fire and lightning magic in RPGs. But like a few others have said, it depends on the enemy and their elemental weaknesses. Lightning for robots, fire for ice creatures, etc.
In real life, I would use time/dark magic. Controlling time would be hella nifty and I've always liked the look of dark abilities in games and anime. Big Magus fan here. Jam it back in, in the dark.
