Well, they didn't stop making PS1 games until late last year or early this year, if I'm not mistaken, so I think it's safe to say they'll keep making PS2 games. Unlike Microsoft completely abandoning their Xbox.
Fuck PS3 though. At least until they get most of the problems fixed and lower the price a couple hundred dollars. You can check out the PS3 discussion thread if you want to see my main problems with it. The Wii is a great system, although most of its games are pretty gimmicky right now. Zelda's definitely awesome and your wife would probably like Rayman or Super Monkey Ball if she's into cartoony games. The upcoming Elebits looks to be pretty fun as well. Jam it back in, in the dark.
