Competition Vs. Friendship
Well competion in general really bugs me and I know that's my own personal problem BUT, I know that there is a certain point wher other things are more important, and I want to know from you the community where you stand.
The situation is : You are playing a sport or video game or anything that involves two or more teams where the objective is to win/have fun. You are picked as a team captain, you know that your friends do not practice as much as you do, therefore if you picked them you would probably lose. But they are your friends. Do you go with a more skilled player or just a random person who MIGHT be skilled over your friends? Jam it back in, in the dark. |
Ok, no to toss another wrench into the gears. How do you determine skill level amongs the people you are playing with? If you don't know that much from the beginning then you have to do something in order to figure that out.
If that something is to have a mini one on one tourny to see who stands where then that might take some time, and you only have few hours together before everyone has to go home. Most amazing jew boots |
