But when I try to use Cura, what usually happens when fighting bosses is that the character gets KO'd right when the ATB bar is full. It's just infuriating.
So, why don't you just turn off Gambit and use hi-potions?

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Two questions about gameplay:

Spoiler:

First, at any point of the game, do you need to fight with an specific character? Because it's really a pain in the ass to lvl all them up. I'm with Vann, Ashe and Fran (the whole reason why im playing this). They are like 6 lvls above the rest. I just don't want to be forced to play with my low lvl charcters.

And second, In the bestiarity menu, some of the enemies have numbers on the right where it says "need". What's that? I need to kill that amount of enemies in a chain to get an item or what?

There's nowhere I can't reach.

For the ones who have already finished the game (gameplay spoiler):

Spoiler:
I'm playing without a guide like i always do on the fist run. So I'm gonna finish the game with much % as I can, and then i'm going to look at a guide to complete the game 100%. Is that possible or are there some items or events that you can only unlock in certain points of the story?

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Usually, some enemies have a green health bar. If you have ever played a mmorpg, you'll notice that those enemies are not agressive. This kind of enemies in this game are usually tougher than the rest (like the dinosaur on the first area or the elementals), i suggest to come back waaay later, when you have at least two quickenings per character and you'll be able to finish them in no time.

I have just finished the giant turtle mob hunt, man that was a tough one.

How ya doing, buddy?

Is at the Giza plains, yeah. But it's a different one that we usually see around there.

Spoiler:
It's shell it's too damn hard. It took me like 10 minutes to kill the bastard, even with my characters with 3 quickenings each. I was able to connect a quickening combo of 19 hits and I barely scratched him. =/. The problem is that the turtle cast blind, slow and one of the most annoying spells, disable...

I was speaking idiomatically.

I'm using Ashe as my main character. She is the only one that i fully control and get most of the damage attacks. I strongly recommend that you equip her (don't know how well it works with the rest of the cast) with a dagger since your evading rate increases considerably. With the dagger equipped i have something like 54% of evading rate and it works really well. She blocks and evades 2 out of 3 attacks.

Finally i've got all 3 quickenings for all the characters. Despite i don't like Vaan, his last quickening is awesome.

And just a little tip, try to lvl up all the characters. The bosses and mobs fights becomes MUCH easier if you can replace your characters (usually whose mp has run off because of the quickening) with the ones standing by. If you have some good reflex and some luck you'll be able to beat most bosses with little effort just with the quickenings.

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

So, is there any loot that i need to keep in order to get an special mob hunt or item? Because i sell almost all my loots (except Teleport Stones). I'm 50 hours into the game and it's so freaking addictive...

Soooo, maybe that's how the Firefly Accessory works. It's supposed to reduce your character exp to 0. Maybe you can lvl up the two characters left faster if the third one is equipped with it.

I'm at about Level 50 now; what level, would you suggest, is a good one before I head into the Feywood?
I'm at the same lvl as you, and when i started to think that the game was becoming easy i headed (without knowing) to Nabreaus Deadlands. Pretty though monsters there, good exp though. I'm doing a mob hunt here, but if the enemies are kinda though, the mob will definitely kick my arse...Just fought with one of those fake save crystals, though bastard.....

I don't get it, are you trying to start an introductory thread? Welcome Welcome - down the hall and to your left.

Looking at the guide, it seems that you can also get it from a treasure chest from Henne Mines Phase Dig 2 (page 268).

Look at the map (page 142), it's the treasure chest N°15. It seems that with the Diamond Armlet equipped you have only 10% chance of getting it. The treasure chest respawn though, so you might be able to get it.

Most amazing jew boots

Ok, so according to Shonen Jump, Final Fantasy XII International will have two new playable characters (not as guests): Larsa and Vossler.
I personally love the idea of Larsa as a part of the group, since he is one of the best characters of the game.
I wonder though, how is this going to affect the story, since both characters are missing in some portion of the story.

And about Vossler
Spoiler:
I played the game a long time ago and my memory is not that good.
He dies, right? Aerith all over again....nice...

Oh man, my fricking limited edition copy looks like a beta game now

The source is Magic Box. It's on the news section.

Quote:
- Shonen Jump magazine revealed that Square Enix's Final Fantasy XII International Zodiac Job System for PS2 will have 2 additional playable characters, they are Larsa Ferrina Solidor and Vossler. Both characters will no longer be non-playable/guest characters, you can put them into your team, set their gambits, and use them as leader in battles. Larsa and Vossler will also have their own set of weapons.

Ok, Zodiac System is available for download at blackcats. It seems that it doesn't have an english text option .

I'll download it anyways to play the kick-ass Larsa.
