Can't believe no one mentioned Angelo Badalamenti (Twin Peaks; Blue Velvet; Mulholland Drive), who collaborated with Normand Corbeil for the Fahrenheit OST.

Also, Peter Gabriel (remember when he was with Genesis?) teamed up with Jack Wall to create the moving score in Myst IV: Revelation.
