I like hearing both, and seeing the different takes that Voice Actors have in thier approach of the role. While I don't understand Japanese (Other then the usual otaku-eque words that everyone knows [Kawaii = cute, desu = rozen maiden, etc.,]), the tone and meaning of the character can be heard nontheless in thier voice.
That's why I try to get Dual-Audio, so that I can hear different 'sides' to the personality of a person. Having two people voice a character in some ways allows for a deeper exploration of that character, versus just being spoken in one language.
That's my two cents.
However if I'm lazy I'll take English over Japanese =p
