Classic List:
Starcraft
Deus Ex

Modern List:
UT2004
KOTOR/II

I will explain for each choice:
Deus Ex was a revolutionary title for me... it gave me a wide range of things to do, with actual consequences for doing so (Try to rob the bank, and security guards would appear, or whatever), along with a storyline that actually adapted to your choices, and let you decide how to procede (Kill the guards and gung-ho it in, or sneak around and stealth kill?) in many different situations. Too bad the sequel couldn't live up to the first game.

Starcraft was one of the few games I would play just because it was that fun. The balance of power between the three races was excellent for its day, and the many hours I bled away on multiplayer give me warm memories now. I really wish they would make a Starcraft 2, or World of Starcraft even... a sci-fi balance to WoW.

KOTOR/II for me was a unique take on both how RPGs operated and showcased a new side to the Star Wars Mythos. I have to give an edge to the second game for its overall better presentation (Sans the ending). The killer spoiler of the first game was also a nice touch. The combat system was partiucarly new for me (Probably not for some of you others). I especially enjoyed the voice acting.

UT2004 was special to me for the vast amount of deathmatches, bombing runs and other gamemodes which was always a great way to pass off steam. The even larger amount of customization meant that you could play a new great quality mod every day of the week. I should reinstall it again soon.
