I just got the game from a friend, and I'm going to check it out when I get home tonight. I'll be able to play on Medium Settings apparently

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Woo! Just got the game today, I'll try it out in a bit. The Game said it would be at "Medium" Video Settings, which I guess is in the middle.

My PC's specs:
CPU: 2.8Ghz Pentium 4
Ram: 1GB Ram
Card: ATI Mobility Radeon 9700

--edit--
I'll be trying it out in a few minutes, just as soon as I get done burning the ISO to a disc, which should be about done.

Its done! Time to try it out =D

Since Morrowind was awesome, I have great faith in this one.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Ok, well I pretty much gave up on trying to get into the thieve's guild since
Spoiler:
I could not for the life of me locate the Garden of Dedron or whatever its called in the Imperial City Waterfront. Can I still get into it now, or was it a one-time thing?

I decided to make my own class, and I'm balancing myself between blade/heavy armor with a bit of athletics along with Destruction and Healing Magic.

The only downside with the Oblivion gates missions is that it gives me slowdown if a lot of enemies are on screen >_> Of course I only have a ATI Radeon Mobility 9700, so that's partially to blame.

The game is fun overall though, I like the Arena fighting especially. Get paid to Kick Ass

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Well, I personally started

Spoiler:
want to hold off until you contact the priest at the Priory, which is like the first mission anyway

Does anyone know if Joining the Thieve's Guild will put you on bad terms with the Blades or other Guilds? Can I join a Fighters Guild AND a Magic Guild?

Oh, and thanks for the tip Gechmir, I'll try it out in a minute, just as soon as someone answers the above first question

Well when I took
Spoiler:

The Emperor's son to the Cloud Temple, you had the option of Joining the Blades at that time, IIRC. It might have been after a couple more missions, but it was fairly early in the game.
The only downside to the GREAT equipment that you can recieve from there is that its not sellable, meaning a Gold Value of 0... but those Akivari swords sure do thier job well!

Alright, well now I'll see if I can join the thieve's guild and see what happens.

I was speaking idiomatically.

Well I don't know about the 360 Version, but on the PC your eyes turn a light red hue, along with the obvious skin changes. I'll post a screencap once I can make sure its screencaping correctly.

*spoilerz*
Also on the Cure Vampire Quest, I found all the ingrediants, but the lady seems to think I don't have Garlic and Nightshade, which I have at least one of both. Do I need multiple garlics and nightshades, or is it some sort of bug?

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

I got another small problem:
Spoiler:
In the second or third quest for the Mages Guild in the Imperial City, you are supposed to go to some Ayelid (sp?) Ruin. I did that and met two Guild Members inside and now I'm stuck trying to decypher four tomes and subsequently open a center pole/tower. As for the tomes they seem to want:
Fire, Frost, Damage Magikca and Strengthen Magikca. Doing those to the approriate tomes does nothing.

Currently I'm at Level 9, The Champion of the Arena, Envoker in the Mages Guild, and a beginner in the Fighter's Guild, despite my player not being much of a magic user, haha. The reason for the low level? I've been Opting to do missions more then exploration, although I should probably tackle a few more Oblivion Gates, and get the Thieve's Guild started.

--Edit--
For Ectoplasm,
Spoiler:
There's a side-mission where you can help a girl get some Crystal Ball or something on her Ship in Anvil, in the dock. There will be Salior Ghosts in there, and you can pick up Ectoplasm when you defeat them.
.

And A word of warning: Use Magic (Lighting seemed to work) or Silver Weapons on them.

My only complaint about the time is that I'd like to have the time pass in real-time, meaning that 24 hours happs cocurrently to the time it is in real life... but having waiting (T) eliminating the possible problem of waiting forever for a quest or some NPC to appear.

How ya doing, buddy?

Yeah its awesome, I was browsing some mods there earlier and saw it like an hour after I posted that, lol.

Personally I'm waiting for when they expand the borders, giving us updated versions of the surrounding providences. Expansion Pack is a possability too, if the developers wanna do it... but I imagine a fanmod is the farthest it would go.

Look no further:

Also, I finally got around to joining the thieves guild... now I gotta snatch stuff a lot, woo.

Mucknuggle: I decided to hold off on the 24 hours mod for now, but I did find a very nice one: All it does it colorize the map when you go to F4. Instead of a bland Sephia map, you now have grass and snow, wee! Its a very small mod, but its something that I think they should have added to the official release.

I did use a cure vampirism mod, because I got stuck on getting the cure, as the woman wouldn't take the last two ingrediants (Take the fucking Nightshade!).

When someone offers that horse armor to the general public (I.E. people who dont' wanna pay extra for what SHOULD be free, I.E., any non dumbfuck) hit this thread up with the links.

I imagine that problem was resolved something like this:
Bob: "Hey Joe, since Xbox 360 members can pay for extra content, lets release this horse armor for like 2 Bucks."
Joe: "K, but what about the PC users?"
Bob: "Oh, yeah do the same thing, but make it a bit cheaper (He says while recieving a blowjob from Clara in accounting)."
Joe: "But what about the users dis--"
Bob: "Can't talk, getting head."

I was feeling unusually sleepy yesterday, so I paused Oblivion, laid the fuck down, and passed the fuck out, and when I woke up at like 4am, I resumed playing right where I left off for about a half hour

Oblivion Screensaver FTW!

Nevermind.

I'll try out the armor tomorrow. Oh and so far my favorite small mods are:
- Color Map (Essential, IMO)
- Not so agressive animals (I.E., actually behave somewhat like real life)
- landscapeLODmod (A needed change)
- Natural Water (Makes it much prettier to look at without a huge drop in FPSs)

Is there any way to import your own muisc to play during the game? Fighting
Daedra to some VGM Battle Music would be the sex.

Of course I'm sticking to the themes of the game and using only medievil sorts of music.

As for the xbox 360, well I dunno if you can do that.
Thanks for the tip. Yeah I got the PC Version. The only way I imagine the game would use custom soundtracks for the 360 is if there was an option for it (Like in some games with the Xbox).
