And the set up for ECW's return begins.

Also, if they're not bringing DX back then are they sure throwing a billion teases out for it.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

WWE management was extremely upset that the information leaked online, letting their secret out very early. However, for anyone that watched RAW this past week, it became rather obvious what WWE's intentions were.

Since WWE is Vince's bread and butter, it'd seem foolish to send a handful of his best draws over to ECW. I guess you might find Booker T. or Randy Orton over there, but beyond them, which stars is WWE really willing to give up? And there's not exactly a frieght train full of established non-WWE wrestlers aching for a chance to get into the McMahon camp.

Seems like the ECW re-debut is almost doomed to mediocrity simply because of its ownership. Can't say I'm too excited.

Surprisingly enough, Vince will have nothing to do with anything that happens in ECW. He just owns the name. Tommy Dreamer and Paul Heyman will be in charge of it. Which means, it'll probably go back to the way it was so many years ago. They're trying to rehire all the ex-ECW talent they can for the revival. With those two in charge, you can expect nothing but good things out of ECW. Which, btw, I need to see if I can find that ECW DVD that was released a few weeks ago.

Of course Vince is playing the ECW card as a final act to stomp in TNA to the ground. With Bischoff being released in July from his WWE contract, 3 months after, I bet he'll be more than happy to go over to TNA and then it truly will turn into the next WCW.

I was speaking idiomatically.

I think Jerry Lynn's still in TNA. I remember seeing him on there a couple of weeks ago. At least... I thought I did anyway.

3. ECW

Ok two things tonight that made not only me go "WTF" but the crowd go "WTF" too.

Spoiler:
Kane. I mean really, wtf. I expected something cheesy to happen. Not someone dressed as old school Kane to walk out. Even though the hair could have been a little better, it makes me wonder if Kane's going back to the silent masked Kane. The crowd was silent... well into after the commercial break.

2. KURT ANGLE IN ECW. Holy shit. I was thinking Benoit or something, but to hear Angle's music... man.

two huge bonus points for WWE for actually having some big damn surprises out there.

*sigh* Just as I was beginning to like seeing Paul Burchill with the pirate gimmick:

Paul Burchill needs knee surgery and will be out for an extended amount of time which explains why he was buried three weeks ago on SmackDown!. His pirate gimmick has also been dropped.

One source within WWE said, "Kane is the most respected guy in the Raw locker room. He carries himself very professionally and it would be ashame to end his career without a decent title run." Kane has stated several times that his 24 hour title reign in 1998 does not bother him, however, many within WWE (including Vince McMahon) feels as though that Kane has been bothered that he has not gotten another title reign in his career. Even though he's technically on RAW, there was some thought to giving him a title win at Judgment Day or No Way Out, but those plans were nixed. Another source said that when Kane was asked about a possible future title reign he said, "It's time for the younger guys to shine."

Before his departure, Kane would like to be involved with Bobby Lashley, Randy Orton and John Cena. He would also like to reunite with The Undertaker as a tag team. Additionally, The Undertaker has expressed to management that Kane could possibly be the one to end his undefeated Wrestlemania streak. However, Kane turned down the idea, seeing as it would take credibility away from Taker's legacy.

Ooooooooooooooor....

This could be the start of breaking the Raw/Smackdown barrier and making them "one show" again. Merging the brands as there will be ECW to watch. Which.. hey... works for me. The brand split was retarded anyway.

Injuries from ONS (not really spoilers since no storyline is being talked about. REAL injuries...)

Quote:
WWE.com has posted several videos from action that took place after Terry Funk's match and Rey Mysterio's match last night at ECW One Night Stand.

In the video of Terry Funk after his match it shows him receiving several stitches to his forehead. Funk seems to be most concerned about his eye, but WWE medical staff says it will be fine. The video also shows Beulah receiving medical attention for what appears to be bruised ribs.

In the other video uploaded by WWE.com it shows Rey Mysterio being escorted to the back. After checking his blood pressure and breathing, the medical staff comes to conclusion that Rey injured some part of his neck. Rey complained he was unable to feel some of his fingers and his neck.
Now if people are suspecting this, they had one with Richard's filmed after his match with Chris Masters, and it showed him getting attention to his nose after Master's fucking crushed it to hell and back. So I take this as candidly shot footage and not faked for the audience, but who knows.

(took video links out as they were "not found")

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Well, when you factor in him going through a divorce, he keeps getting all these injuries, hasn't had really any significant time off like normal wrestlers do, it will start to affect you. :\

He just needed a long break and Vince thought it would be better to let him have that break instead of being over-worked and burnt out while being even more prone to mistakes and injuries.
