Funny you should mention Lightsabers, since I saw this exact article in the blog for
Master Replicas, who make the force fx lightsabers. They were saying that it would probably be possible in a couple of years to be able to make "real" lightsabers. I'm not too sure how "real" they were expecting it to be.
