But wait-a-sec, are we all talking about a remake for PS2 or is it pretty much granted this will be a PS3 project?

A game remade for the PS3 would prove to be pretty awesome since there is the obvious mega-improvements in graphics and such. They'll probably also change on screen characters to non-SD figures which would also improve the visuals, but playing a movie would definitely sell it for me.

Plus the fact that it is most likely already in development and with the PS3 due out in November, will we see a remake FFVII as a launch title?
