There is an official PS2 Memory card adaptor, though I don't know why it doesn't seem to be available in Europe. I checked on the Asia Playstation website and it's right there on the accessories list:
PS2 Memory Card adaptor for the PS3 Since it's available still in Hong Kong, maybe sites likes Play-Asia would be suitable for you.....but they're pretty fucking expensive: PS2 Memory Card adaptor on Play-Asia Wow, HK$98.00 compared HK$155.20?! Bloody rip-off!!  Jam it back in, in the dark.
