Wouldn't it be funny if we find out that the whole second season is just Endless Eight? Since the disagreements or whatnot back then, they just decided to animate 13 episodes of this crap and waited for the stalemate to end so they could air this shit as revenge? They'll then tell us that "Disappearance" will air next year.

I'm guessing we only have 5 episodes left this season after Endless Eight? So will Sighs only be one episode or two? I'm kind of hoping that Disappearance will be at least 4 episodes long to truly be epic....

Oh god, isn't it like only 4 more episodes left of this season (14 episodes + the 14 from the first season make a total of 28 episodes, right?)? Are they gonna spend it all on the movie-making? When the heck are we gonna see disappearance?!

Anyways, despite my concerns of not getting to see Disappearance at all this year, I am certainly looking forward to Shamisen's debut in this story arc soon. It should be awesome.

Yeah, episode 13 had that little confrontation in Tsuruya's house (funny how we never see anyone's parents around).

The new contact lens was hilarious - Mikuru hardly got a blink before Nagato zipped in and floored her. So the new contact lens gave Mikuru the mono-filament abilities of Walter C. Dornez? Don't recall that from the novel...

I liked the confrontation here, it seemed more like the kind of reaction you'd expect from a nice guy like Kyon. And I felt Haruhi's initial shocked reaction was something missing from the book.

Next episode: Shamisen!!

Despite the profound disappointment I felt with Endless Eight, I am once again starting to look forward to seeing this movie. When is the DVD coming out anyway?

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Well, finally got round to watching the movie last night. I don't know if it was because of the letdown from Endless Eight or if it's because I had to wait so godamn long, but I found the movie to be pretty much meh.

Pretty much everything from the novel is there and it had it's moments of chuckles. The helplessness that Kyon experiences is conveyed pretty well. It seemed like a good movie, yet why did I not like it? Was it because I already knew the story and expected too much? I don't know. Anybody else see the movie? Anyone care?

By the way, what was that bit at the end about, after the credits end?
