Magical girl Lyrical Nanoha. Scene: A walk to the park that leads to them finding Yuuno.

I should also note that Arisa Bannings is right there, so that's more or less a dead giveaway.

Since the only really lengthy series I can come with is Inu Yasha, I'll put that in as my guess despite dropping the series altogether somewhere around episode 50. Art style doesn't even seem close though. =\

That'd be Mushishi. I don't exactly remember how he got those horns, but I do remember his mom suffered from the same problem and eventually died of it.

Since we're going along the violence/supernatural track, I might as well throw in my guess for Higurashi, although I don't recall there ever being a bloody footprint anywhere in the series.

Not a bad guess, but no cigar. This series is relatively more obscure than either of those. Keep the guesses coming.

This screenshot kinda jumped out at me as I was watching the series. Hopefully that means it'll be easy enough.

It's not Magical Shopping Arcade Abenosbashi and it's definitely not Grave of the Fireflies for the reason .Spartan cited. Not a bad guess though since the context of this pic does relate to WWII even if the show takes place long after the war.
