The comparison comes from taking a normally boring concept (like Go, or in this case, bread) and making it really awesome and addicting. Like many viewers, I've had the urge to try out some of the techniques just for the hell of it and see if I can get the kind of results they do. Probably not likely, but it's a testament as to how cool this series goes when it comes to making bread.
Does anyone know if the writers do some sort of research on breadmaking by consulting with real chefs or if they just come up with this kind of stuff on the fly? Jam it back in, in the dark. |
