Couldn't you just simplt battle alone as a certain character in the game? Or just turn off the gambits and manually control each character.

If it werent for the battle system I believe the game would really be hectic.

As for storyline it is a different twist. A political storyline won't appeal to everyone unfortunately.

How ya doing, buddy?

Well for those who are compaining that the game is too easy then you have yourself a challenge. Go solo with no gambits. As simple as that.

On the other hand, I have heard that the game was pretty hard or challenging from those who played the Japanese version.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Ohh well not every Final Fantasy game will please everyone. I'll probably end up as an oddball of the PS2 FF's like FFVIII. You either love it alot or dislike it. : /

I really don't want another FFVII. It was a great game but it did have its faults. The storyline is political and mature (as opposed to the last few games) and will be dry at times. : /

Well her biography does state she is a very talented dancer. Maybe Square removed that FMV because it is going to be in the DS game? Just a guess...

I went to my local Gamestop and all they had was the regular edition guides. Aggg! They told me to stop by tommorrow because it might be in. ^_^

I'll probably get the Ashe or Penelo folio. The art book sounds wickedly great!

I too respect your opinion about FFXII. Not everyone is going to love it. But aren't we taking this "Bash FFXII" routine too far? Sure the games may have flaws and negative values but it surely must have something postive about it.

On the other hand I think a storyline with the lack of character development is a curse and a blessing. Curse as in orphanage scene of FFVIII which completely ruined the mood of the game as opposed to Cloud's past.

I will definately enjoy FFXII. I am a sucker for political storylines lol.

Well I had really high expectations and envisioned it as the perfect game because I really wanted FFXII to knock FFVII of its pedestal.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Agreed. It is kinda hard to take in that this game has so many flaws after such a long and rocky development history. I too as with other FF games will play it with an open mind.

Well I just played for about 2 hours and it is freakin awesome. Unfortunately I KO'ed by some monster in the Giza Plains.

The dialogue and voice acting is superb. The story isnt so dry at all. I find it hard to stay on task and not go exploring. The world of Ivalice is HUGE!

Actually it is the opposite for me. I have trouble hearing the voices. Maybe it isjust the TV or the settings. : /

I managed to make it through the waterways last night. What a unique experience!

Agg I should have paid more attention to buffing up my characters. I'm currently going throught the area with the Mimics which requires you to keep the power on.

Ohh well I will probably start all over anyways because I didn't do to much exploring in the beginning anyways.

But yeah I have no idea why some people are saying the storyline is boring or dry as of yet.

According to the guide the Snakeskin is not needed to get the Esper Zalera at all. So don't worry.

Where is the entrance to the Necrohol of Nabudis? I can't seem to find it lol. Unfortunately I opened up those treasure chests so I can't get the Zodiac Spear. I'll do it in my next playthrough. I'm just interested on how the devastated capital of Nabradia looks.

I found them pretty easy. Demonsbane is so awesome I haven't even bought a new sword for Ashe yet.

The story has become quite interesting.

Spoiler:
It kinda sucks on how Drace died.

Here is the answer to your question Freelance Wolf.

Spoiler:
After you beat Mateus you go into the inner sanctum and recieve the Sword of Kings. Then Vaan suggests that they test on the Dawn Shard since it is no longer useful to them to see if it can really destroy nethecite. The Dawn Shard begins to react violently as if scared of the sword. As Ashe raises the sword to strike the shard in half Rasler appears apparently telling her not to do it. She brings down the blade and MISSES saying this is the sword and let's go. She then asks Vaan if he saw him again but he replies with a no.

I'm not sure if this is a spoiler but you need to do this to get further in the shrine.

Spoiler:
The first pedestal you see wont activate unless the person touching it is equipped with the Dawn Shard. I think other parts in the Shrine require you too do this again. But once that is done you can unequip it.

Well we know the FMV where Penelo was dancing got cut out but so far I haven't seen the one where all the Judges are walking together. And since I am already at the Sochen Cave Palace I highly doubt I'll see it. It seems quite a few scenes were cut out of the game.

Well I go on a number of factors such as storyline and which characters they seem to fit. I gave Baltheir Belias because it's his reward for going through Raithwall's tomb. Not to mention his level one Quickenings looks like a fire elemental attack.

BTW where do you buy/find the spell Bubble?

Whats the best place to quicklz level up lvl35 characters? All my active members have an golden armband so LP wont be a proble for me.
I cant seem to find the spoiler button so SPOILER ALERT(mark text to read)

Why does the Empire attack Mt. Bur-Omisace again and why did Lord Larsa disappear? I somehow didn't give any attention to that part. Can't wait until I'm at Darklor Laboratory to finally see what's really behind that "shadow" but right now I need to level up and make some hunting.

thanks!
Spoiler:
Well after the assassination the Empire seemed to be in turmoil and Vanye wanted his brother back in Archades. Though it is not clear why Bergan would attack the Grand Kiltias (seeing as the late-Judge Drace made him seem like an ally against the Resistance), Bergan probably found out the Grand Kiltias Anastasis was helping out Ashe, not to mention the presence of the rival House of Malgrace. So I am guessing the Empire saw it th wrong way and decided Bur-Omisace is a traitor. You gotta read in between the lines.
