Updating on the Tyrfing situation: I got 5 already. Sweet as hell.
Like Xellos told me, you need at least a couple of ATK UP sealstones (Desperate Soldier's Law [ATK 150%, No HP Recovery], Yggdrassil's Blessing [All Status Up], Sword Blessing [ATK 120%] or Sharp Sword Sealstone [Which I did NOT get. It's puzzle annoys me to no end; ATK 120/150%, Half HP]), the skills Dragon Slayer/Unscaling Might and your best weapons up to date (with the trinkets also having ATK bonuses - link them!) and timing, I think. My party was Freya, Arngrim, Rufus and Hrist. Could go rounds here but the most I did was 2 rounds. Important Note: When Tiamat's HP goes BEYOND the "L" in Leader's HP, about more than 3 cm or so, he WILL heal. That is BAD, considering you have to take Tiamat out with the Bonus Bar STILL full; Tiamat's Heal is about 383,900 HP, which can refill his bar on the spot. After that, everything was easy. Arectaris took only a round, same with Ull in Highsocks. Virtually everyone was getting a great weapon (except the Mages and Light Warriors). Now I'm relieved, time to get extra equipment for my main party members. This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. ![]() |
I also found out that Valkyrie (yeah, that creepy character) is uber-strong. Her default attacks are powerful enough to deliver good blows yet her special needs awful work (even if they are powerful enough). Her equipment right now is Levantine plus a plethora of ATK and MAG items perfect for Psychosoma.
And I also found out (Yes it's late. Sue me) that you can place the Sheated Power's Wrath on the 3rd floor of the SG. Now even Ethereal Queen on second round (Cleared 1st time without the stone set) can only go as far as dealing about 8,000 HP in one ATK. Sweetness. I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? ![]() |
Uh. 99?
For keeps actually since Bahamut was down in three rounds with the sealstone (Rust Wrath). Hey, I could be wrong but the guy has a ton of HP to boot. Not only with the Desperate Soldier's SS but also a couple more (Including Yggdrassil's blessing and Sword Blessing). What's so utterly horrid about that? Unless you have something better of course because these sealstones are helping me get Infinite Admiration like 4 times already. I was speaking idiomatically. ![]() |
Sealstones alone will make your veins pop. Equip Descaling Might and Dragon Slayer plus boost it up with ATK up items or so. This will help bring down both Bahamut and Tiamat in about two rounds or less. Now get a couple of ATK up sealstones (Like previously mentioned: Sword Blessing, Yggdrassil's Blessing, Desperate Soldier's Law, Sharp Sword Sealstone-thingy or if possible, as much as you have) and pray that you can finish them off in 2 - 3 rounds maximum without the trouble of losing entirely that bonus gauge. In my situation, I had to use Freya (With Heavenly Punishment - sets the Soul crush bar at 100 provided that every attack hits {It's about 14 hits; +10 increase in bar per hit} while at her final somersault everyone attacks in to get good damage), Hrist (Gungnir), Arngrim (Before Tyrfing, Sword of the Meek), and Rufus (Everything goes here but it's either Soothsayer's Bow or something else; I used Mistletein). For Tyrfing, it's a couple of pages back. Just attack him and hope that your sealstones and ATK items would being his HP slightly far to "L" because if it isn't, Tiamat will heal. Bad thing. And oh, if you are unsure if the ATK will go beyond L (due to good damage dishout), just cancel the last person in line. Usually anyway. For Bahamut, same strategy; just make sure you won't get hit that much or the bar drops. He has higher HP but I noticed he never heals (I think). --- Concentrating now on getting Perfect Release weaponry. I suppose for Heavy Warriors - Tyrfing; Light Warriors - Helgi's Sword (Dainslef is only one weapon but it blows. Might as well get Levantine due to 1000 MAG. Just boost the MAG respectably; Archers - Soothsayer's Bow and Mages - Holy Wand of Telos. Hell, I won't even bother with the other equipment. Maybe. -- Or for harder progress in SG, I suppose Sheated Power's Wrath will do with Yggdrassil's Blessing, Sword Blessing and either Six Elements' Blessing / Lifeforce Blessing. Hell, Lifeforce Blessing should be good when combined with Metabolizer and First Aid. Maybe. What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? ![]() |
50 is absolute suicide.. I think. I went there at level 70 and still reel from the attack. Level 99 and things are just a tad bit easier. Just remember that sealstones are -very- vital for success, as well as equipment and strategy. It's just that the final boss located at the bottom of SG takes a long time for me to defeat (hit-and-run tactics lawlz). FELIPE NO ![]() |
Yggdrasil is godforesakenly awful. Christ, getting the treasures there bothers me though.
But the next dungeon is awesome. What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? ![]() |
