Honestly I only got VP1 last Xmas.

I might, you know, I might. Stretched screen on the PSP = Bad. Also I got the PSP because I got pressured from pals (Yeah, buying another MP3 player) and because my copy went to moot, which made me sad.

But why not? We can search Metrotown over until we find a copy

Also on Chapter 4, should I go back to levelling up on the Halo spot on the Palace of the Traitorous Dragon and level up there? (Currently in Sukavia Pass).

There's nowhere I can't reach.

So I basically blind-rushed the hell out of my way through 4 and 5 and..

Spoiler:
Since I rushed it, I'm now in Asgard. Found Chapter 4 to be extremely short otherwise, but with a ton of story.

So what happened in the 4th is the King gets killed, Queen commits suicide, Dylan is actually Brahms, Walther and Dyne cast the Sovereign Rite after Alicia battles Hrist and Arngrim, Lezard zapping somewhere else, Silmeria also teleported the hell out with Hrist inside the contraption, Freya casting that weird shit that encased Brahms in solid crystal as well as that zapping spell, Odin shunning whole of Midgard for knowing the Sovereign's Rite (basically 2 Mages knowing the Rite and Odin sends the whole damn world in flames. What the hell?).

Chapter 5. Alicia wakes up and knows what happened through the eyes of Rufus, Alicia having a different voice and a Soul Crush attack intro (which is much more tougher know than before), Forest of Spirits, Asgard, Bifrost, Alicia can't come to Asgard, Rufus telling her that he won't need the Ring when he enters Asgard, Forest of Spirits boss and an Asgardian person in dark clothing, They get chased, an elf saves them, they're rescued but Rufus is paranoid, Alicia and Rufus plans to get Ghoul Powder in the Lost City of Dipan, Goes back to the forest, Alicia drinks the ghoul powder, drama, MORE drama, MOAR drama, they get saved again after being attacked by the Asgardian in black, Elf woman saves them again, they go through the Ravines in under 8 minutes, Rainbow bridge, Asgardian in Black is actually Heimdall (watchperson over Asgard), defeats him, they continue forward.

Even Freya is skeptical. SUSPICIONS! And will I know who's the Elf girl, or is it someone else (like Leone = Hrist so the Elf Woman = ...Freya? Speculations!)

Will go back to Chapter 4 and actually level the hell up to like 70 or so. In the Palace of the Godforesaken Dragon.

Whew, damnit. Now I need is to just level up more, more and more. Seriously, the game kept me until 5 AM earlier. Now time to study.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

While Alicia was (and still) in the party, I replaced a missing slot with Circe (equipped with the Slashing Sword "Farewell") and another with Gerard (who is now equipped with the Sword of the Meek). Rufus is still in with an Elvenbow.

Alicia is the currently the highest, topping at 54. I know, see, I basically blindrushed the whole damn thing. I'll play my backup save and restart the whole process again (seeing as the levelling up in the Palace had good effect, why deny of the favor?).

They're both great on different grounds, so I do not see the reason why one is superior than the other.

Anyway, still the Palace thing. Still great with the Pig + Friend Law. With the Dragon Zombie.

By the way, where can I get ingredients for a Shiny Rupture?

I'm speculating that Dylan is actually Brahms or some sort, hiding. Probably Dylan was all just a hoax and it was Brahms all along. MAYBE

How about level 60? Still at early Chapter 5 (re-did as I rushed the last saved file - the file was on Asgard).

Seraphic-Gate wise. Of course, will level up though, but I'm trying to get a good approximate.

Is this game's emphasis on grinding? I'll bite the bullet since the premise and combat is fun, but it is kind of annoying. Any suggestions as to where to level?
Virtually yeah, it is about grinding. Hard, long grinding that's quite fun.

I also have the guide and you.. er, can get to level 40 (for Leone and Arngrim) through the last dungeon before the chapter ends. Right now, you can level up by beating the Audola boss over and over; if too much, usually Turgen. Then head for the next town and dungeon.

Don't worry though. The last dungeon will fill your time and Chapter 3 is quite long.

Audola has that Gold sealstone that gives more money, but it is tricky to get. So far for me, no absolute luck. Retrying over and over again actually. It's by the ledge towards the boss with two enemies behind the holed wall.

Apparently in the Hall of Drama

Spoiler:
So it seems that Lezard was playing the strings all along. He, uh, used a teleportation spell to capture Silmeria by Chapter 4's end, now he uses a soul transfusion spell to form an ultimate god and steals Gungnir.. did I get that right? Again, more drama between Alicia and Doofus, Ring fell, Alicia got it back.. ...wait, so Alicia had remnants of Silmeria's capability of object reading after Lezard steals Odin's soul and weapon? Is that right?

Now onto Valdrama, they meet Arngrim, THANKFULLY HE GOES BACK DAMNIT. So Alicia has a new finish (is it because she had object reading or what?) and Doofus (because he died?). I'M UTTERLY CONFUSED.

Alicia tops at 72 now, doing rounds of training until I get Arngrim to 60-ish. Or 55. With Toughness, she's pretty much the highest right now.

Killing Thorns may be shit but hell, not only it nets you good amount of crystals when the enemy is launched up in the air (I get this a lot in the current dungeon), but with double edge it adds AP to the bar dramatically, making it useful. Still, shit-ass damage.

If not Alicia's Imperious Act, then it is the usual Tri-Crusade.

Virtually, yeah. But I seldom notice.

And oh, Chapter 6.
Spoiler:
ZOMG LENNETH WENT BACK IN TIME ZOMG. Hrist, Lenneth and Brahms join the party. Will now level up Ally to 99). Also, what's the AP input of Nibelung Valesti (like how much + to AP after one round) and Bloody Curse?

Also wondering how to get the Conqueror's Armor and how to get that much gold (800,000/piece) in the shortest time possible.

Are Flamberges available this early at the game? Because I remember Dylan using it quite frequently. The weapon itself causes Fraility and is quite helpful.

Also I usually aim for their sides with the weapons onto them. Like said, cast status-changing spells for good effect as well as appropriate equipment already said.

Does it? Now I'm curious. I thought it was the weaponry/spells (like Prismatic Missile for example) that caused status effects, not attacks.

Also at Chapter 6 levelling up the new ones I got to about 55 or so.

Except here every mage has great magic but only 2 wands that really mean business. And not in the main game either.

Spoiler:
So after defeating the Homonculus Lezard and Silmeria (Lezard was a pushover. Silmeria heals EVERY move so instead of dealing might reinforce or some equipment that will massively boost attack power and kill her in one round, I just pushed her over the edge. Bam, transfer effect.

So apparently Ally's about 95, Rufus is 93, Arny's about 87 while Lenneth is about 60, Silmeria's about base level (which completely blows) and Hrist and Brahms digits below 60. The pack on my einherjar is median 60 so it should not pose a problem when I release them by the last savepoint. I decided to let Alicia stay at 95 for now for full Seraphic Gate abuse.

Story got cheesy but it's nice to have the three sisters again. I wonder how it will end up?

Moving along, what I need for my Conqueror's Armor is just Deep Doom (probably Rotting Zombies in the last dungeon) and Sage Quartz (which is found on Bifrost [UH. NO] or the Ravine Caverns or something). Man, I really want that armor so bad...

And for those who have finished the game or saved at the very last save point...
Spoiler:
How will I manage at the Gate? Ally's 95, Rufus' 93, Arny's 87 with a high 1605 ATK while the sisters and Brahms could use little more time. I just want to get the Angel Slayer and was wondering how will I get through it? Also is there a shop deep in the dungeon for weapon customizing? And what sealstones should I have and acquire before traversing the dungeon? Strategies for survival?

Unfortunately, you have to backtrack all the way through since Asgard has a different entrance. Fortunately, Ravine doesn't have a timer (and you know the reason what happened to the character).

What intrigued me though is how did Xellos got his Arngrim a massive power boost, like 50K each attack? Does it involve certain steps or..? I'm VERY curious how to get that high attack power since mine can only go up to about 6,000 twice (first strike and aerial slash) and a couple 1,000s in betweens and afterwards in Arny's Final Blast with ALL of the einherjar released and their prizes towards Arngrim (like the stones left when the souls were released).

Is it the einherjar or something? I really do want to know. Did I miss something by not releasing my recruited souls in chapter 5? Anything?

To fight that monster, you have to find that sealstone in ravine cavern that negates sealstone effect. I think that's what it was called. It's hidden somewhere you'll have to find it, and then place it on a dais that's near that monster.
Isn't the Elusive Law Sealstone usually by the T-Rex which boasts MASSIVE defense?

Here's what I did. I equiped the best weapons I had at the time. and gave everyone 3 of those +5% attack power and a power bandle. Now I'm not sure if what I did next actually helped, but it seemed like it. I gave everyone the skills Dragon Killer and Unscale Might. Dragon Killer obviously works since it's a dragon, but i'm pretty sure unscale might works as well, since it says does more damage on enemies with scales, and i'm pretty sure dragons classify.

Now when I fought them this time, I did so much damage that I nearly killed him in 1 attack run. Had to do twice in the end, but ended battle with full bonus bar, and thus a 100% chance of getting that sword. If your lucky you get two at the end, but worst case scenario you do it 4 or 5 times, no biggie.

Just made sure to equip the sealstones every time you go in. half RDM matters, as does no-guard and maybe the other half RDM one.

Oh, and equip EVERY attack sealstone you have. 120% one, 120% all stats, 150% attack half RDM and 150% attack no heal.

You will succeed.
Thanks. The question now is where to get them. I've been hearing "Oh! That's in floor 4 where you fight that boss!". Yeah, I've been messing around the 4th floor and the ones I have not gotten to yet are those damn puzzles in certain rooms. Is Tyrfing one of those rooms with puzzles?

Also lawl at Arectaris Returned. What strategy applies to him to kill him quickly (to get the Soothsayer's Bow)? Getting to fight him is a puzzle that I found relatively easy to solve but requires precision to get him.

And oh, where to get Wind Gloves and... Ether Crowns! Yeah, I heard these things are RARE as fuck. Just wondering where to get these items.

Again, thanks.

Or Dainslef.

So apparently I'm learning new skills, namely God destroyer (or something. Hell, I stuck myself in the 5th floor. And the one on the 5th floor is Bahamut Xel and he drops Infinite Admiration, which can be nullified when you have Tyrfing equipped. So alas, I'm getting the Tyrfing-Conqueror's Armor-Ether Crown-Wind Glove-Red Boots combination, just for kicks) and Dismantle (Yeah, took me THAT long before I put some work to getting it learnt) for the battle with Tiamat (I heard that he is somewhere in the 4th floor next to the Hamster room (...what? Can someone tell me where this room is?) with flying enemies and the crawling one (which can be 20% Tiamat or 80% other - usually natural spawn).

I managed to go THAT far while being on neutral equipment. What the hell, small wonder SG bosses take a long time for me to defeat.

But I enjoyed it nonetheless.
