Have you ever run into a dick, cop?

I met a dick cop when I visited Stone Mountain Park last Saturday. My brother and I were going to cross a street so that we could get to the other side of the intersection where his car was. As we approached the crosswalk, we saw that the traffic was a little heavy, so my brother says to the cop "Can we cross here?" Instantly, his demeanor changed, and he began yelling at us in a very heavy Russian accent:

"NO. NO, IT IS AGAINST LAW"

"But this is crosswa-"

"NO, IT IS AGAINST LAW"

"But then where do we-"

"YOU MUST USE TUNNEL. THERE IS TUNNEL UNDERNEATH STREET, OVER THERE."

I shit you not, that is exactly how he spoke. Then he shooed us away with his glow baton and didn't return to his post in the middle of the street until we approached the stairs leading to the tunnel. What's more stupid is that the crossing was a zebra crossing, so we would have had the right of way by definition. My only guess is that the crosswalk is closed at certain times of the day. But he could have been a little more friendly about it.
