Not an Anime, but a manga (I hope that's okay...)
About 3/4 of the way through book 8 of the Chobits manga, Spoiler:
WHAT?! You mean you've been stringing me along for 7 and 3/4 books only to drop that bomb on me right at the very end?? I felt pretty sour after that. Jam it back in, in the dark.
