If I am alone in the house, normally a fair volume from the Hi-Fi so I can still hear the music if I need to go upstairs. Otherwise, if on the computer, I try to keep it a fairly low measure on headphones. Have been known to have it blaring though and my ears paid for that in the morning.
Jam it back in, in the dark.
