Ugh. The new opening really SUCKS. The images are cool and all, but I can't believe they went totally hardcore metal for it. I guess I'll be skipping the intro when I watch these episodes, now. At least the ending is pretty good.

Waiting for episode 20 to be subbed...

Jam it back in, in the dark.

I have episodes from Kuro-Hana. The latest one from them is 26. Quality seems fine to me, but sometimes they have a few typos.
Or forget to put a line of dialogue in all together. This happened in episodes 21 and 25, but it's usually not a big deal. I use Kuro-Hana because they release faster than anyone else, usually early Wednesday.

Spoiler:
I hate the fact that L is dead, because he was by far my favorite character. Although I've never read the manga, I was informed of his fate beforehand. Still, his end was portrayed in such a pathetic way...he looked so submissive. This next arc better be damn good. >_<

There's nowhere I can't reach.

They are cramming things in this arc. The first arc usually had 2-3 chapters per episode. Episode 29 had 9, and the ones before that at usually at least 4. They skipped a lot of things in episode 29, mainly the new shinigami was suppose to have more action along with a person in Mello's gang doing the eye deal.

At this rate, I can understand if they make it to 37 episodes, I just hope they can keep things simple and allow great tension for the end of the series.

Yeah, I hear you there. Actually, I didn't feel that this arc was being rushed until episode 29. Having all that content in one episode was crazy. I never cared when certain things were filtered out before (such as deep thinking, boring conversations, etc.), but some really important stuff was left out, most importantly being
Spoiler:
Mello's dealings with the U.S. president. I mean, in episode 30, there's a new president out of nowhere that's never explained! >_<
Even still, I'm enjoying how this new arc is panning out. Episode 30 was good, and didn't feel as rushed as 29. I think at this rate, they'll definitely be able to finish the series in 37 episodes. I just hope it's as enjoyable as the first arc was.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

For those of you who care, you can grab Animanda releases 1-31 here in one nice torrent package. I've never watched a release by them (after youtubing episodes by random subbers until epside 20, I stuck with Kuro Hana), but everyone says they released the best subs of Death Note.

I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body?
