I have 5 relatives that have had it done with 100% success.
However you see those horror programs on TV where people are either left totally or partially blinded. Thats what puts my mom off. Your best bet is to always go to one that is recommended i.e. ask your GP because I'm sure he/she will maybe know of a few good eye clinics where some of his/her other patients have been sent to have it done.
