I know people have used PartitionMagic to partition drives while there's data on them with no problems, but I know it also carries some risk. I think Vemp tried it and lost everything.
 Also, when you're installing WinXP you're given the ability to set up partitions prior to actually installing it. Jam it back in, in the dark. |

It won't cause any permanent damage, it'll just erase all of your data if is messes up.
