There's nowhere I can't reach. |
There's even various mods. I think my two favorites are the ones which remove roof restrictions for infected. Makes hunters a lot more lethal and unpredictable as they can be coming out of anywhere. Also like the mod where infected can talk to survivors when they pounce/smoke/boom them. It's mostly obnoxious in pub games, but when played in private games with all friends it's a blast.
I used to play a bit on a server which had various mods for survivors. It gave them a few random upgrades (bullets that make zombies disintegrate, light on fire, faster reload, larger clips, extra health, faster revive, escape one pounce/smoke for free, and a few others). They also got rid of extra medpacks and made one tank and at least one witch in every level. I thought games on there were a lot more interesting. This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

For anyone that's still interested and hasn't bought the game. It's currently on sale for $15 on Steam.
Or you could just wait a few months and get L4D2. I mean, you've already waited this long. =\ I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
That's what he gets for being the worst person ever with the shotgun.
I was speaking idiomatically. |
I dunno, I think Valve is still pretty centered around PC gaming. I mean, look at who got priority for all of their TF2 updates.
Also, I like how on the front page of Steam there was an ad with L4D being $30. WHAT A DEAL. What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? |
::L4D3 announced next week::
FELIPE NO |
I used to do speed runs in the original L4D. It was a good tactic on certain levels where there weren't a whole ton of wide open areas and it was easy to stay grouped together. Generally everyone on the team would take a shotgun and just try to haul ass. The fourth stage of Dead Air was perfect for it. The only thing that could really screw you over was a good tank holding your team up after you started the van event.
What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? |
Any of you PC people tried playing L4D2 on the 20 person maps? There's something hilariously great about two tanks rushing 10 survivors. I can't figure out if I like the pro servers better than the point servers for that mode since both tend to be a lot of fun. The only really shitty thing about point servers is how most of the Russians can't seem to figure out how it works (and there's always so many of them on the servers).
Jam it back in, in the dark. |
