I left home when I went to college. Stayed away every summer except for the one of my freshman year where I worked full time as a chemist at a local company.
After graduating a semester early I was planning on living at home until I went off to graduate school nine months later. After two weeks I decided I couldn't stay there just because it was so hard to get back into living with my parents (we get along great, I call them and talk for at least an hour at least two-three times a week). I wound up working for a professor at the school I had graduated from for the winter, spring, and summer. Went back home for two weeks before starting grad school, and now I'm living out here 3000 miles away on my own. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
