Well here in Canada, it's THE language.
In the phillippines though, we also see the usage of English for certain words and concepts, where it would be harder to use a tagalog equivalent. I can't think of an example since I don't speak tagalog very well, but there is definitely the adaptation of certain words from English (eg. television = telebisyon). Jam it back in, in the dark. |
