I seriously hope that never happens to me, apart from the passing the class part.
The most desperate thing I can recall is actually a similar event. I had to hand in a silly 5% economics assignment. I did it with a friend a couple of days before it was due, but at that time I said "I'll just write the answers later." In reality, we only got the general idea. So I started to redo the assignment the night before and stayed up until 4 a.m. in the morning working on it with her again, since we really didn't understand the assignment as much as I thought we did. I kept second guessing one answer for two hours since the notes conflicted with the text. I wanted to finish it really soon, but I kept going back to the answer that I was doubting. So I woke up at 8 a.m. for my 9:30 class, and then it turns out that we get an extension of a couple of hours for some reason :@ In the end, that assignment was no big deal, but I was so desperate to finish it quickly and thoroughly. Ugh~ regret.
Jam it back in, in the dark.
