Ooh exciting. I wonder if it will be a continuation of stuff that's happened with Soma, or be totally different. DoS was pretty awesome, so if they still use the soul concept, then I hope they put a whole bunch more, whether or not they are useful.

I just got this game yesterday and I love it way more than Dawn of Souls even though I sort of miss the soul collecting. I'm really liking the teamwork element, present but for some reason I wish that Jonathan and Charlotte were brother and sister instead of just growing up together. Less than 15 minutes in and you already have 4 spells and 4+ weapons to choose from!
I actually had to retry several times for the first boss since I wasn't rushing it enough and didn't have time to actually guess whether he'd poke up, straight or cause spikes to erupt. Quite a bit more elaborate than the first boss of DoS since this armour also had two other nasty attacks. I was taking 40 per hit, so maybe I didn't level up enough. There's nowhere I can't reach. |
