I have to check constantly that I have my: 1) wallet, 2) phone, 3) (i)pod, 4) keys in that order, and make sure that I haven't been pickpocketed while listening to my music or looking elsewhere. Why the 'pod before my keys? The alliteration with "phone," of course.
When making study notes, I have to write them out in excruciating detail whenever I get to doing them or else, they won't be "complete." Even if the professor clearly states that certain things won't be on a test/exam, I still write them down in laborious detail to delude myself into thinking I'm making creative use of my time.
Jam it back in, in the dark.
