The Gamingforce Soundtrack - ver. 3 - Quiet Place edition

All righty then, it looks like it's that time of year again!
Help out by choosing those quiet, serene, mellow, peaceful tracks from all genres to fill out this relaxing album.

CHANGE: Please provide a link to the song; preferably by yousendit.com since Megaupload has too much slutty popups + lower retrieve speed. However, you can still nominate a song if you believe it is cream of the crop, but it'll be hard to put on a soundtrack if it's not given :s Worst case scenario...download ITunes and rip the song from the cd if you have it.
- All are welcome to nominate, especially since diversity is a key ingredient.
- Three to five suggestions per person would be great.
- Try not to reuse too much tracks from the old albums.
- Providing lyics is not required, but if you think they're really meaningful then go right on ahead!

That said, the floor is open for suggestions...

To kick it off, this is the kind of peacefulness I'm talking about:

1) Shinai Naru Tomo E by Yoko Shimomura from FF Potion
2) Friend by Tenpei Sato and Rei Tashi from Phantom Brave
3) Marche (Love for Humanity Version) by Akira Sasaki from FFTA White Melodies

Jam it back in, in the dark.

It's unworthy until someone stickies the thread lol j/k It seems to pick up the pace a bit in the middle, but it's not like all of the tracks should be totally slow and dead throughout their durations.

All of this is some good stuff here. It'll be hard to choose from everything
I'm glad that Eclipse was thrown in. It's definitely a different take, although most people would probably be confused initially at it's placing.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Actually yes please...shamefully I don't gather very much of mainstream stuff or anything apart from anime/game music :s

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

I'm starting to have a newfound appreciation for all songs that fall below 75 bpm. Lots of ambient stuff, as well as some jazzy contenders. I can't help but think that Quiet Place songs seem to have a blurry border with Chillout Lounge songs, since they're all so relaxing. I could definitely chill out to all these songs, which is what I was doing earlier in fact

I definitely like Muse's "Unintended" so far, something real good would have to knock it out of an album spot, in my opinion. It's still difficult to distinguish the best variety out of the 20 or so songs everyone posted.

Keep 'em coming. That said, here's my bias for vgm again with another beautiful song:
Dimension Breach by Yasunori Mitsuda from Chrono Cross

Cyrus XIII, Devo, BucPride - I guess I would prefer samples of these songs sometime as well...no rush yet

Eee, this is what I get for missing one day...fortunately I caught all those nominations and sealed them on my hd. Thanks for providing links

Major change to the first post, so those who haven't provided links please send the songs on over...or I'll just PM you soon if you feel passionate about your song nominations.

I will restate: keep them coming!

I was speaking idiomatically.

My fifth allowable nomination:
Puffy - Always Dreaming About You

Give that one a listen guys! Finally something that is a bit more of the "folksy" side of quiet songs instead of the slow touching songs that I couldn't seem to break away from. Rather clear English and simple overall.

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

As for nominating more than 3-5 hehe, no worries, I hope these are really good! Since you took the time to compile them all, it doesn't hurt anyways.

How ya doing, buddy?

Okee dokee! We've had approximately 28 days (as of the time of this post) to mull over our soothing, relaxing songs. Thank you for all who nominated. I will compile the album very soon. Look for a voting period SOON for some songs I can't decide upon. If you don't vote soon, then I'll arbitrarily be choosing everything, which you all probably would dislike.

Edit: SOON

Edit 2: Sorry, I've decided already...so I will refrain from holding a vote

Edit 3: k, song listing will be up tomorrow, and the songs themselves will come up sometime AFTER the song listing (long uploading time for me)

Most amazing jew boots
